CNCC visit to North Wales

Progamme included

Visit to the Hafod y Llan Farm and Estate and meetings with its senior officers and authority members of the Welsh National Trust and Snowdonia National Park

Authority Site visit and meeting with members and officials of the North Wales Wildlife Trust

The programme is focused on landscape scale conservation and national parks both important initiatives for the Northern Ireland environment.  

Dinner with members and officials of the Countryside Council for Wales and Joint Nature Conservation Committee.

Evening talk from Director of Coed Cymru on closer integration of forestry, farming and wood use.
